
Project Overview
Springfield Mills (c. 51,869 sq ft) required a fast, responsible building clearance to enable onward sale/letting. JBW designed a 10-day circular-economy approach that prioritised reuse in the local area, backed by auditable records. Items were triaged on-site into reuse, prepare-for-reuse, specialist recycling and residual waste, allowing charities to redistribute household essentials quickly while WEEE and metals were processed through compliant recycling routes. Around 75% of contents were repurposed, landfill was minimised, and the client received evidence packs including logs, photos and partner feedback.
